Finding the right support for communication, language, literacy, or cognitive-linguistic skills can feel overwhelming. This is even harder when these challenges impact everyday life at school, work, home, or in social settings. I provide individualized, evidence-based services designed to strengthen functional communication in real-world contexts so clients can participate more confidently and independently in the activities that matter most to them.
My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to each person’s goals, environments, and daily communication demands. I take a neruodiversity-affirming approach with the goal of equipping each individual with a toolbox of skills that they can access in order to self-advocate, no matter where they are.
Functional, Real-World Focus
Therapy is designed around meaningful everyday communication. That can mean participating in classroom discussions, navigating social situations, improving academic language and literacy, managing executive functioning demands, or communicating effectively at work or home.
Expertise Across Communication Domains
Services support speech, language, literacy, social communication, and cognitive-communication skills through evidence-based assessment and intervention grounded in current research and clinical expertise.
Individualized & Collaborative Care
Every client brings unique strengths, experiences, and goals. Therapy plans are personalized in order to find the best plan of care for the individual. Plans are developed in collaboration with families, educators, caregivers, and other professionals when appropriate.
Support That Extends Beyond Sessions
Clients and families receive practical strategies that can be applied across everyday routines, academic settings, workplace demands, and social interactions to promote lasting progress and independence.
A brief consultation provides an opportunity to discuss concerns, communication challenges, developmental history, and goals. This conversation helps determine whether additional evaluation, consultation, or therapy services may be appropriate and offers guidance on possible next steps. Conversations will provide an initial, brief look at communication, literacy, social interaction, and cognitive-linguistic skills.
Comprehensive Speech & Language Evaluations
Comprehensive evaluations offer an in-depth understanding of communication and cognitive-linguistic strengths and challenges. Evaluations are individualized and may examine language, literacy, social communication, executive functioning, attention, memory, problem-solving, and functional communication across settings. Findings are used to develop clear recommendations and targeted intervention plans.
Individual & Group Therapy Services
Therapy is designed to support meaningful participation in daily life across home, school, community, and professional environments. Sessions integrate evidence-based intervention with functional activities that reflect real-world communication demands and individual goals. Family and caregiver training is incorporated for carryover.
